American Solutions for Business (PPAI 101656, D12) hosted its annual national sales conference in Fort Worth, Texas, on February 1-5. The schedule for the five-day event kept attendees busy with opportunities for education, recognition and networking.
Activities included a 5K run/walk that raised over $5,100 for the United Way of Fort Worth, and a general session featuring updates from the distributor’s leadership and a state of the industry panel featuring Andy Cohen of ASI; PPAI President and CEO Paul Bellantone, CAE; David Natinsky, MAS, of SAGE, and Matt Bruno of PSDA. Both vendor partners and sales associates were recognized with awards before the group broke for vendor education workshops. The day ended with a Super Bowl party held at River Ranch Stockyards where ASB home office staff, sales associates, vendors and guests could network and watch the game.
“We had a jam-packed schedule for our attendees and vendor partners,” says Dana Zezzo, vice president of marketing, vendor relations and events. “Everything our team does is aimed to help inspire new ideas, create exposure and build stronger relationships between everyone involved. That’s how you grow sales.”
Monday morning consisted of home office workshop sessions where attendees could learn important information from various departments. The afternoon was dedicated to the ASB Expo, a trade show with more than 160 partnered vendors exhibiting. During this time, sales associates could also meet one-on-one with team members from the home office. On Tuesday, ASB team members hit the floor in a wave of yellow t-shirts to spend more time with vendors and discover new products.
“We can’t wait to start planning for our next conference with even more new ideas to help benefit our sales associates and vendor partners,” adds Zezzo.
