Industry professionals are now welcome to apply to attend PPAI’s Legislative Education and Action Day (LEAD) 2025.

On April 7 and 8, PPAI members and staff will meet with members of Congress and their staff on Capitol Hill to discuss pending legislation and issues relevant to the promotional products industry.

  • Applications will no longer be accepted after February 14.

“LEAD 2025 is our industry’s opportunity to amplify its voice on Capitol Hill,” says Alok Bhat, market economist, research and public affairs lead for PPAI. “By joining us in Washington, D.C., you’ll help shape the future of the promotional products industry, build relationships with lawmakers and advocate for the issues that matter most to your business. Your participation is critical in ensuring that our members’ concerns are heard and addressed at the highest levels.”

The biggest goal of LEAD is to notify members of Congress about the importance of the promotional products industry, which represents a nearly $27 billion sales market in the United States and employs roughly half a million Americans. Of the industry’s 38,000 companies in the U.S., some 98% are considered small businesses.

“LEAD offers an important opportunity each year to advocate for our industry through direct conversations with members of Congress and their staffers on Capitol Hill,” says Rachel Zoch, public affairs and research editor for PPAI. “This year, we are especially excited to be working with Thorn Run Partners, our eyes and ears in Washington. With their guidance, we’re hoping it will be an especially impactful event.”

‘Legislation That Could Reshape Our Industry

Last year, PPAI members from across the country participated in LEAD, holding dozens of meetings with senators, representatives and their staff. Danny Rosin, board liaison for PPAI’s Government Relations and Advisory Committee (GRAC), incoming chair of the PPAI Board of Directors and president and co-owner of Brand Fuel, PPAI 100’s No. 46 distributor, encourages members to register and advocate for the promo space.

“Legislation that could reshape our industry is on the table,” says Rosin. “Your voice has the power to influence it. Will you join PPAI and do you part to protect and strengthen our collective future? Join us at LEAD and make your opinion count.”
