5. Presenter Guidelines

By submitting a proposal, we ask that you agree:

  • Presentations will be educational in nature and used to stimulate thinking about the field of promotional products industry. That is, not a sales presentation for yourself, your company, or specific products.
  • Complete pre-conference planning will be done for your presentation, including consulting with co-presenters (if any), preparing high-quality visuals and handouts, and rehearsing your presentation so that it is interactive and flows, keeping the audience engaged. (Please don’t read from notes or PowerPoint slides.)
  • To obtain permission or pay appropriate licensing fees if using copyrighted materials, including music.
  • To arrive early for your session so that you are ready before the audience shows up. Also end on time so participants can get to the next session.
  • All presentation a/v, technical, and property needs will be ordered by deadline or you will take responsibility for any additional fees accumulated by PPAI.
  • To leave time for questions at the end of your session and include your contact information if someone wants to follow up with you.
  • To be included in PPAI marketing of event and you will provide any artwork, photos, or logos necessary.
