I am seeking a position of sales or sales management in the Promotional Products Industry in the Southwest U.S. I have 20 years of industry experience with 18 years on the supplier side (inside and out in field sales) and the last 2 ½ years working with a high profile distributor based in Texas. I am very active in the industry on a volunteer basis and have great industry networking channels that could be very effective for the supplier side of our business.

Gold Bond Inc. - 2000 – 2003
Left World Wide to take an inside position as the Customer Service Manager and later became the Vice President of Marketing for Gold Bond. I was instrumental in the purchase of World Wide by the Godsey family who owns Gold Bond.
World Wide Lines Inc. - 2003 – 2008
When the Godsey family purchased World Wide I was asked to return to World Wide Lines as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and assist in the rebuilding of that great line. We were very successful in that regard and I remained in that position until both World Wide and Gold Bond decided that they wanted to develop an outside sales force of shared representatives. I took that first position outside as the Vice President of Outside Sales.
Corvest LLC - 2008 – March 2011
Was recruited by my sister-in-law to join the Corvest sales team to try to help rebuild the great line names of Toppers, Advalite and It’s All Greek To Me. I covered Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Corvest was owned by Cerberus, and later a private equity firm before being sold to Camsing Global in March of 2011 when I was informed that my position was being eliminated under the new ownership. At that time I was recruited by one of my best customers.
Scarborough Specialties, Inc. - March 2011 – June 2013
I was asked by Jay Jacobus of SSI to take control of their Fort Worth Texas office and showroom and take it from the red to the black. Initial volume was just below $900,000 when I took over the office and we were able to double that volume by the end of that same year. By the end of the 2012 that volume reached $3,000,000. Currently that office is experiencing growth of 24% in booked sales and 37% in invoiced sales. SSI is electing to take a different approach to their sales management and as a result my position with them was eliminated.
