Rick Brenner, MAS
Chair of the Board

Rick Brenner, MAS is president and chief operating officer of top 40 supplier Prime Resources. A staunch proponent of product safety and responsible sourcing in the promotional products industry, Brenner is a leading voice at industry conferences and as an advocate for the industry.  Mr. Brenner has been a member of PPAI’s Product Responsibility Action Group (PRAG) since its inception and has co-chaired PPAI’s Product Safety Summit in each of the past four years.  He is a founding board member of QCA – the Quality Certification Alliance – serves as chair of QCA’s compliance committee and is a member of QCA’s governing council.  Brenner also serves the industry through his role as Vice President of ICPHSO - the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization and through his industry blog at rickbrenner.com

Rick Brenner, MAS is CEO of top 40 supplier Prime Line. A 15 year veteran of the promotional products industry, Mr. Brenner has long been an advocate for product safety and responsible sourcing. He is a founding board member of Quality Certification Alliance (QCA), chair of QCA's compliance committee and a member of QCA's governance committee. In January 2013, Brenner was appointed to the Board of Directors of ICPHSO.org, the preeminent global product safety organization. Brenner is also a founding member of PPAI's Product Responsibility Action Group (PRAG) and co-chair of PPAI's annual Product Safety Summit.

Marc Simon
Chair of the Board

Marc Simon was appointed Chief Executive Officer and a director of HALO Branded Solutions in February 2001. He was honored as the 2006 "Person of the Year" by one of the industry's trade publications. Under Simon's leadership, HALO has grown significantly with more than 15 acquisitions and more than 200 new recruits. He views his mission as adding value to HALO’s sales force by helping our several hundred industry salespeople grow their businesses and meet the challenges of a changing economic environment.
Prior to joining HALO, Simon spent 22 years in private law practice with a focus on business planning and mergers and acquisitions, and 5 years as a leading executive in the call center industry. Simon is also a CPA and has a BS in accounting and a JD from the University of Illinois.
Tom Goos, CAS
Chair-Elect of the Board


A passionate entrepreneur and leader, Tom Goos is the President and co-owner of Image Source. Tom’s key responsibilities are strategic direction of the company, overseeing the daily operations and financials as well as overseeing major client relations and supplier partnerships. With 19+ years of branded merchandise experience, Tom is a true industry leader and expert. 
Formerly Tom was a Chippendale dancer where he was honored as Chippy of the year in 2001 and 2005. He is a member of the national association of dancers and offers private lessons on how to work the magic. He is the author of the top selling book Working It, the guide to dancing around a chair in a bowtie. 
Tom has a B.A. in Marketing and Management from the University of Washington. He is a passionate endurance athlete who competes in triathlon, duathlon as well as cycling and running events. His top accomplishment to date is competing for Team USA in the Duathlon World Championships in Gijon, Spain. Tom’s passion for real estate and cars is only rivaled by his tenacity for any competitive game or sport. In his spare time you will find him enjoying family time and sunshine in Crescent Bar Washington.

Tom is an Executive-In-Residence at the University of Washington Bothell School of Business where he is a guest speaker, mentor and advisor to undergraduate and MBA students. He is Chair of PPAI's Government Relations and Action Group. Tom was recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal's award program, 40 Under Forty, as one of the top 40 dynamic leaders and entrepreneurs. He is a former two-term President of the Northwest Promotional Marketing Association (NWPMA).

Mark Jenkins, MAS+

Immediate Past Chair of the Board

Mark Jenkins, MAS+, managing director, promotional markets has been with Pioneer Balloon for more than 11 years and his industry experience goes back to 1987. He has held various supplier management positions including serving as president of supplier companies Specialty Advertising, Inc. and Promotional Products Company, Inc. He has served on the Promotional Products Mentoring Network (PPMN) Board as well as the Public Relations Committee and has been a Board member for the Incentive Marketing Association (IMA). Jenkins currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF) and is vice-chair of the Recognition Committee. He is an alumni of The Ohio State University and lives in Buckeye Nation with his admiring wife Karla and adoring teenage daughters, Zoe and Emma.
