PPAI has a staff of 80 available to help the regional associations at anytime. Here are five staff members dedicated to serving the community:
Carol Gauger, MAS
MEMBER ENGAGEMENT AND REGIONAL RELATIONS DIRECTOR
Carol combines her industry knowledge and her association experience in membership, recognition, engagement and overall association management to direct the key initiatives in support of members at-large and the regional association community.
Regional Relations Manager
Dana works remotely, but is at PPAI HQ every month. She works with the 27 regional promotional products industry association Executive Directors and their Boards and provides training to enhance the regionals' effectiveness and viability. Dana directs content development for regional volunteer leaders at the Leadership Development Workshop (LDW). She is the staff liaison for the RAC Board.
Regional Relations Assistant/Coordinator
Valerie oversees the Regional Affiliate Engagement Program that provides sponsorship monies and training benefits to the 27 regional associations and handles many of the day-to-day functions of the department. She is responsible for department communications to the regional community, manages the content on the RAC pages on the PPAI website and maintains the Universal Regional Membership Application (URMA) membership website, the PPDRF donation site and the LDW registration site.
Member Recognition Programs Coordinator
Christina manages IDEA Source as well as six individual recognition programs programs (Hall of Fame, the H. Ted Olson Humanitarian of the Year, Distinguished Service, Legislator of the Year, Woman of Achievement and RAC Volunteer of the Year) and the Pyramid competition (a company-level awards program)—from communication about the programs to handling the entry and judging processes, collateral and winners' toolkits. As well, Christina solicits product donors and sponsors for various Member Engagement, Awards and Regional Relations events/programs.
Volunteer Programs Coordinator
Kathlene joined the department March 1, 2018. Kathlene provides support to all PPAI committees and develops new ways to keep our volunteers engaged and wanting to serve. She is responsible for department communications to the volunteer community and manages the Fellows program. Kathlene also oversees and coordinates the Regional Shared Volunteer Program for one-off regional promotional products industry association projects/needs.
