Rena Ashfeld (District 3), RAC Vice President

Rena Ashfeld is the National Sales Manager of Advance Corporation, a supplier of awards, special recognition and signage, since 2014. “I have been an industry professional since 1995, both as a supplier and a distributor. I absolutely LOVE this industry ... the products and the people! I am a big proponent of supporting our regional association; since 2002 I have been active with the Upper Midwest Association of Promotional Professionals (UMAPP) as a volunteer and Board member. I've held positions on the Executive Board (Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, President, Past President and RAC Delegate); have chaired the Professional Development, Social and Booth Show Committees; and was their 2018 and 2019 RAC Delegate. As I rotated off the UMAPP Board and began my journey with the RAC Board, I knew it was the right step in my volunteerism—to be able to do something that I am passionate about and be surrounded by an amazing group of people—SIGN ME UP! I have a lot to give and like to make a difference. I served as RAC Treasurer in 2018 and 2019.” Rena was recognized as an inaugural PPAI Fellow in 2016. Lori has been on the RAC Board as the District 5 Representative since 2018. “I am passionate about our regional community and the people I serve. Over the past two years, I have absolutely loved the role of connecting with the regionals in District 5 and bridging the gap that exists within our industry. Honestly, it took me a good year to understand what exactly my role was to feel that I was actually making a difference within the community. Now, as a Board, we have decided to move forward with a Regional Strategic Foresight Committee. I am honored to serve our community for another two years as we continue to refine, define and enhance the regional members’ experience.” Lori is married with three children (young-adult bonus twins Nicollette and Alex and teenager Lucas).  She loves tennis, camping, wine-tasting and spending time with family and friends.

Josh Pospisil (District 4)

Josh Pospisil—“Being the tech nerd I am, I love anything and everything tech and yes, I am a sucker for Apple products. I am also an avid runner and health and fitness is a huge part of my life. I used to be severely overweight and lost about 150 pounds thanks to diet and exercise. Being able to accomplish this taught me the real value of hard work and determination. I am dad to two amazing kids that I hope to teach these values to as well. My kids are the lights of my life and I live to make sure they have the best life possible while instilling in them the value of hard work and that nothing is handed to you in life and you need to work for what you want. I am a lover of scary movies and all things music. When I do get free time, I love to be outdoors by the water. You can always catch me somewhere on social media promoting a product, or giving insight into this awesome industry. Only 4.5 years in this industry I have fallen completely in love with all things promo industry-related. I want to help fight the good fight to get this industry the exposure, recognition and respect it very much deserves.”
