Product Safety Aware Testimonials

" I learned some very useful information! I also sincerely appreciate that you're offering the classes at the regional shows - it made it much easier for me to be able to devote my full attention to the information. I'll be sure to pass this along to the rest of our team!"  -
Dale Miller:  The Product Safety Awareness Conference was very informative and reminded me how important the product safety topic is in our industry.  Anne Lardner-Stone (PPAI)  did a great job of presenting product safety in an easy to understand format.    Educating my clients about the subject and the laws will position me (Geiger) to stand out above the competition and build client trust.  It matters!

Brenda Caruso:  The product safety session was very interesting and enlightening.  The 1 hour sessions I've attended in the past were confusing - this subject really requires the whole day format to get a strong handle on our responsibilities and exposure.  Anne Lardner-Stone kept the session moving and explained this difficult subject in easy to understand terms with lots of excellent examples.  Everyone should attend this seminar if the opportunity presents itself.

Pat Talty:  Product Safety is important to our customers; Anne Lardner-Stone provided the tools and information on what we need to know and how to share that information with customers (without scaring them).  Anne really knows her stuff; she made it interesting...time flew.

Donna Horton:  The Product Safety Awareness seminar sponsored by CAAMP/GAPPP was excellent! Very informative and eye opening - especially when dealing with children's products.  Anne Lardner-Stone was a great presenter - she helped make it understandable!

Andrea Shone:  Scary info but GREAT info!  I thought it was a fantastic program that offered an incredible amount of info in a very short period.  Thank you for helping to put that together!!  Definitely well worth it!!!!!

Lawrence Lewis:  Overall, the conference was a thorough look at the existing and prospective regulations we will have to be aware of to continue existing in that market place going forward.  With this awareness not only can we position ourselves better as the thoughtful solutions provider, we are able to present ourselves as counselors and consultants working in our clients’ best interests.  It’s alarming to see what is coming toward us in the future so far as more regulations; however, ignorance is costly, if not immediately, ultimately.  It’s making our business more onerous, yet we’ve a responsibility to ourselves and our clients which we can’t obviate anymore.  The day was well organized, the material was well presented, thorough, clear, concise and practical.  The best takeaways from the day were the knowledge of the robust resources at our fingertips through http://www.ppai.org/inside-ppai/product-safety/cpsia  and a larger appreciation of working with trusted vendors who are taking the measures to comply with the laws.

“The Product Safety Aware Program was truly educational and enlightening. I’ve already spoken with a few other suppliers and advised them to attend the program as well. In this busy world we live in, attending the seminar allowed me to fully concentrate on the information presented.”

TSPPA members were delighted with the Product Safety Sessions offered by PPAI ‘s Tim Brown at the TSPPA Tailgate Tradeshow this month. The sessions which are a MUST for all promotional product practitioners were informative and explicable. Tim Brown made a not so glamorous subject easy to absorb while also being very enjoyable.

“The Product Safety Aware program at our Ideas in Bloom Show received rave reviews from the attendees.  Comments included “eye-opening”, “everyone needs to hear this”, and “I’m so glad I attended this!” were common.  We offered three of the four courses required to receive the designation plus had the required course delivered as a webinar and on-demand.  Product Safety Aware is a critical competitive advantage that keeps our industry, our clients and consumers healthy and safe.”

“I had the distinct pleasure of attending the PSA Advanced session at the MIPPA Show last week. A couple of things: If you go into these sessions with your mind wide open you will learn an immense amount of information that will not only set you apart but will prepare you for future challenges that will undoubtedly arise. Tim Brown is a brilliant presenter, easy to listen to, relevant and incredibly knowledgeable—do yourself and your career a favor, take the classes, you’ll thank yourself in the long run and so will your clients.”
Cliff Quicksell, MAS

“The program was very informative and both suppliers and distributors were excited and interested to learn about Product Safety and how it applies to their business. Also, the fact that it was held at Bullet Line was an added bonus as they had compliance personnel present to answer questions and inform the participants on Bullet Line’s product safety procedures.”

“Thanks for your most informative presentation of the PPAI Product Safety Awareness Program last Tuesday in Hialeah.  Not only did your presentation provide an excellent knowledge base for informed decision making and business practices, but the interactive exchanges you promoted amongst and between the distributors and suppliers present were very valuable.  Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience; providing online and other sources for important statutes, regulations, policies, best practices, etc.; and facilitating stimulating discussion amongst all of us.  All of the aforementioned provide each of us with the knowledge and available resources to understand the complexities of product safety governance and compliance.”

“The PPAI presentation of the Product Safety Awareness Program was fantastic. Compliance is something that is a real-world concern facing our industry not only today, but in the foreseeable future. Tim Brown did an amazing job of getting the attendees up to speed with the ever changing world of compliance and product safety, addressing various federal and state guidelines concerning the sale of promotional products. Tim was not only very knowledgeable on the topics addressed, but also keep the presentation lively by adding personal experiences and antidotes. Overall it was a great program and I would highly recommend it to anyone, supplier & distributor alike, who’s looking to maintain their presence within our industry.”

"The program was beneficial. The majority of the subjects did not relate to our products but the few things that did were helpful. It was nice finding out reasons behind some of the rules that I thought were unnecessary." - Dale Barker, Product Manager and Designer, Paul K. Guillow, Inc.

Bob Hackel, Chief Administrative Office

Tom Elsbernd, Executive Director

“I learned some very useful information!  I also sincerely appreciate that you're offering the classes at the regional shows, it made it much easier for me to be able to devote my full attention to the information.  I'll be sure to pass this along to the rest of our team!”  Wendy Horn, National Sales Manager, Berlekamp Plastics, Inc.
“The program was beneficial. The majority of the subjects did not relate to our products but the few things that did were helpful. It was nice finding out reasons behind some of the rules that I thought were unnecessary.”
