Description of Responsibilities:

  • Generate faxes to vendors for drop ship Purchase Orders (PO’s) that have been created by customer orders.
  • Follow up daily on PO’s via system reporting to ensure PO’s have been sent and are in process.
  • Point of contact for vendor communication on any drop ship PO including shipping information, pricing questions and art questions.
  • Communicate directly with vendors to follow up on PO’s, negotiate rush ship dates if necessary and resolve errors and problems.
  • Maintain information in the AI Linc pertaining to ship date and any discussion with vendor and /or customer.
  • Assist catalog buying assistants by generating PO’s for program inventory and providing follow up and expediting as needed.
