Exams

The PPAI Certification exam is offered year-round at PPAI live events and online. In order to register, you must have already completed the specified CAS or MAS program requirements.

Each exam consists of multiple choice questions. The CAS exam material* is based primarily on the content of the CAS Required Courses, while the MAS exam draws from all CAS information and industry knowledge and experience.

*Periodic changes to ensure current content and relevance are a hallmark of a well‐designed credentialing program. Therefore, the Certified Advertising Specialist certification exam has recently undergone an extensive analysis and subsequent update. The new CAS exam will take effect on June 10, 2016. Please contact PPAI directly at certification@ppai.org, if you have any questions or concerns.
